Throughout my middle school and high school experiences technology has had a huge positive impact within the classroom. Starting in eighth grade, everyone was issued an iPad. We started doing all our work on them and now, as a senior, I cannot imagine not using technology every day.
To begin, teachers are able to post homework, powerpoints, and assignments which can all be easily accessed by students. Thus, making it easy for students who are homesick or just happen to miss a class to simply find the information they missed to get caught up before the next class. Furthermore, technology also has made presenting projects and group assignments in the class more exciting by being able to airplay what is on our iPads to the projector within the classroom. Therefore, engaging the other students and the teacher to what the students are saying.
In conclusion, technology has positively impacted my classroom experience in many ways. It makes submitting homework and other assignments so simple. Even if I happen to miss a class I am able to see what was covered in class and learn it before I come to the next class. Additionally, I enjoy creating and presenting projects in class because I am able to make it interactive for the other students to participate. Overall, technology has played a crucial role in making my classroom experiences positive ones.
