Throughout my years in high school it was never just a single person that inspired me academically, instead many people have inspired me academically every day and those people are my past and current teachers. Every day someone has a chance to make an impact in your life, to inspire you, help motivate you, challenge you and make you the best person you can be and those individuals are teachers that help me strive towards the path of success.
The way a teacher organizes and make their classroom setting comfortable for a learning environment improves my attention span in class and makes me feel welcomed and cozy. For example, in my Spanish class my teacher has old cushioned computer chairs for seats instead of the hard, cold, and metal chairs that don't move. This encourages my success in the class because being comfortable is a broad factor to how well I pay attention in a class which leads to me being academically successful. Another example is effort. My teacher has specific days that they stay after school to help students who are struggling in class, out of their own schedule, this shows to me that they want to help because they care. A teachers attitude is also a major factor to how I succeed in a class. When I am lifted up by positive comments, feedback, critiques and kindness I am more inclined make an effort and do well in the class.
