What would I do. by Oliyah - May 2025 Scholarship Essay

If I had all the money in the world and unlimited time, I would negotiate deals between Gaza in attempts to mend the conflict and killings that have been going on in the process for years. I would help single parents or poor families to end the food crisis, or attempt to improve it.

I would also like to draw attention to society’s shame towards vital health care like treatment of aids and other Sti’s and stds and provide a safer environment and make those who are suffering from such diseases not afraid to speak out. I would achieve this by starting campaigns and fundraisers to help sponsor group homes or low-income cities since they have the higher rates of stis, aids, etc.

I will also implement a school program to help students in inter cities learn more about safe sex and their options, and how to go about it if they do find themselves in that predicament, and offer classes on parenting to young teens to help prevent dangerous situations in the future or lead to them on the streets like many other teens, I would want to make the world a little better a day, an hour, a minute or a second at a time.
