The Nobel prize was founded by the will of the scientist Alfred Nobel. There is a reason why he founded the Nobel Prize, which was to acknowledge the people and the great works that they have done and to promote peace. So it is expected that for someone who gets the Nobel Prize he or she should have the qualities of a person that Nobel would have wanted to get the prize. Someone who gets a Nobel Prize should have the following qualities.

He would have wanted people who got the Nobel Prize to want to help the world and promote peace, thus there is a peace prize. However this makes you question why did he start this people have been doing things about peace and have wanted peace for a long time, but he thinks “Good wishes alone will not ensure peace.” What Alfred did is giving an incentive so that people strive harder to be great chemists or peace promoters and then they get something out of it, which is world recognition of their achievements. This means that a candidate for the peace prize should be an active promoter of peace especially if the person is getting the peace prize.

Another important quality that a candidate should have is that he or she would want to help improve the world and should have a history of helping people or being a humanitarian. The reason why someone should have a Nobel Prize is because what he or she found out has a practical value which could be used to enhance and help humanity.

There are different types of Nobel prizes like the Peace Prize, the Nobel Prize for Physics, Chemistry, Literature, Medicine or Physiology. There is also the nobel memorial prize for economics. What I discussed before was what generally the people in the Nobel Prize committee would look for in a person, however when awarding different prizes certain qualities in a person might be wanted more importantly than being a peace promoter or creating something that will help for research in the future. It might be that the person actually did the work that they did and did not cheat off anyone or harmed anyone in producing the work that they did. The last part said is similar to the aspect that the person agrees on peace and is a peace promoter.
