As a second grader you need to understand that school and learning are very important to you and all of us to have a good future. School teaches us so much and helps you prepare to be an adult in this big world that we live in. Your mommy and daddy know the importance of going to school to get a good education. This is why they get you up every morning and get you ready to go to school to learn and make some good friends. You in turn must work hard to be a good student and try your best. You don’t have to be the best, but you do have to work hard and do the best you can. Make your parents proud and always know that they are there for you if you need help. Your teachers are always going to be there to help you when you need them and are there to help you do your best in school. Never be afraid to ask questions, for this the way we learn. No question is a silly question; by asking questions is how we learn in school and in life.

In school we learn to make friends and how to work together. We learn to read, write, and do math problems. School is the place where you will work very hard, but also where you are going to have the best fun ever. All that we learn is going to help when we are adults, even the fun stuff. When you get a little older you will also get a wonderful chance to go to college. College will be the final school that you will go to and it will prepare you to get a good paying job when you are all grown up. Education is the key to everything, so is important to always try to do your best in school even when you are in 2nd grade.
