2021 New Year's Resolution for education. by Odena - December 2020 Scholarship Essay

My new year's resolution for education in 2021 is to stay focused and do the absolute best I can in school. I have yet to complete High School. I am a senior this year. In previous years I was not the best at keeping up with all of my class work. Math is not my favorite subject so I have not been good at putting in all of my effort. In 2021 I am going to work at being the best I can no matter how much I actually enjoy the class.
I'm going for Psychology, I hope that one day I will get a master's or doctorate degree. I am starting off at a Community College after that I plan to transfer to a University. I have a huge interest in learning about mental health. I have already been accepted to attend college in Fall 2021 now I am looking for funding for college. I was in foster care pretty much all of my life, and have witnessed and experienced a lot of mental health related problems, therefore Psychology is the way for me. I am very excited to get into college already. It is my dream to succeed in high school so I can succeed in College. 2021 is going to be my year for good grades and dedication to my education.
