Essay: A kid with a dream by Noah - March 2020 Scholarship Essay

I am a high performer. I know the way to be a high achiever is by seeking clarity. I seek clarity almost every day. I don’t know every little thing that will happen, but I have a clear plan that is used as a blueprint of my life.
I had to spend time figuring out who I am and what I am passionate about because I want to have a job that I love. It took many scholarship applications to figure it out, but it was all worth it. I have a passion to make people laugh especially when they are having a horrible day because laughter brings joy to their lives. I want to take this passion and use it by being an actor. I would love to make people laugh through the different characters I play. I feel like this dream would be possible through Pacific. I want to go to Pacific University for 4 years. I want to major in business, and minor in Theatre. I will spend those 4 years at Pacific gaining experience in acting and theatre studies; on the other hand, get a business degree while I am there. After the 4 years at Pacific, I want to be a full time actor. I trust Ellen (the theatre teacher) will help me get a job after I graduate and that will start my acting career. I may move to Hollywood or some other place, but the bottom line is that I will commit to getting roles in plays or movies. I am just a kid with a dream who is willing to chase his dream as long as it takes. I know it's going to be hard and tough, but I have a bigger reason why I am chasing my dream than to be famous. I want to make people laugh when they have experienced hardships. I have experienced hardships and having my friends make me laugh really helped me cope with my losses. The other 5 years of my plan would be living my dream by having a job that I love and having a wife with maybe kids. My dream right now is to go to college without taking any loans out. In conclusion I hope you will help me fund my dream by helping with the college part. Thank you for reading and I hope you consider me for this scholarship.
