Positive impact essay by Noah - November 2019 Scholarship Essay

A time where I impacted my school environment was a time where one of my friends was in his worst time. We were both on the soccer team, but one day my friend drank some alcohol and got caught. He was not able to play for our team anymore, and it was his senior year. This devastated him because he could not play with us anymore. I was there for him when he needed me because it was a hard time for him. I heard that everybody looked at my friend differently because of what they heard he did. I was different because I still loved him and looked at him the same way I have since I met him. This positively impacted my school because when people visit our school, they can see how I don't care where you come from or where you been. All I care about is what are you going to do with your life right now. I also lead by example to everyone else that this is the way we should treat people because we all have made mistakes in the past. We all are human and nobody is perfect. When people are there for you, it makes the burden a little easier to carry.
In conclusion, I hope you guys consider me for this 1,000 dollar scholarship. It would be much appreciated and would not be wasted. I am a positive person and I know that college will need people to see situations in a positive way. All I ask is if you guys would help me get there.
