Educational Hashtag by Noah - April 2018 Scholarship Essay

Education is an idea that everyone has differing opinions on. I believe one area that everyone can agree on within education and life is that hard work pays off. The hashtag that I chose to create to represent education is #hardwork. I chose this because in school and educational programs the major thing to be successful is to work hard in everything that you do. Although not everyone is gifted and intelligent in every subject they can work hard if they want to. We know this because not everyone is made the same and people have different standards some higher than others. If everyone was great in each subject there would be no need for a grading scale. With that said, many teachers will work with a student to allow them to pass the class with a decent grade if they choose to work hard. I have never met a teacher that is not willing to go the extra mile with you if you are willing to yourself. The biggest take away I have from my education up until this point is if you work your butt off a teacher will do their best to help you. Education up through high school is just the foundation of what your life is going to be. If a student can work hard in school even if they are not the best at it they will be successful because they have instilled the work ethic in them that any employer will value. You do not have to be brilliant to make six figures but in order to get to that point you will have to work hard. Nothing in life worth having comes easy but with a little determination and hard work anyone can be successful. This is why I chose #hardwork to represent education because that is what education is, teaching the younger generations to work hard so that the future is functional and stable.
