What part of a college experience will you be most thankful for and why by Noah - November 2016 Scholarship Essay

I believe I will be most thankful for the relationships I will develop through out my college career. It seems to me that the people I know who have attended college have made long lasting and meaningful relationships with all kinds of people from all walks of life. Not only the students but also the teachers.
In my experience so far, just from being in high school, I have realized the importance of good friends. I have come to count on them for not only going out to eat and going to the beach but also for when I just need someone to talk to when I have things to work out, be it things with my parents or girlfriends or teachers. I think it will be the same in college, at least I hope so.
I have played on the varsity team of my high school for the entire 4 years and those relationships have given me so much strength. I like the feeling of being a part of a team. I always try to be a team player and help out anyone who needs it, on and off the field. It gives my pleasure to help others. I hope to be able to continue my football career in college but I'm not sure it that is going to be able to happen. That is why I am looking for ways to receive scholarships so if I cannot receive a football scholarship I will still be able to attend. I am looking also for a school that offers ROTC as I intend to go in to the United State Marines after I earn my degree.
