I believe having leadership in college is necessary for college success. College is when you become independent. When you go into college you have to make the right decisions because your parents will not be there to help you. I believe having leadership in college is important due to having school work and your social life.
When doing school work in college it may come a time when you have to do a group project with different people. When that time comes you have to speak up and be a leader in order to make sure the project is done on time and that it is organized. If you don’t do that some people may be overworked due to others not doing their part and the project may be rushed. Another example is when you are in a club or a sports team. You don’t have to be the loudest in the room in order to be the leader but you can work the hardest and lead my example for the group. Showing leadership in the classroom will make your college education easier and will be noticed by others which can lead to other opportunities in life.

It’s good to be a leader in your social life because while in college you will have a group of friends and you will do a lot with them. I think it’s important to be a leader because if you are in a predicament you should be able to have that one person to get the group out of a situation or even being put in a situation that may harm them or their future in college.

Being a leader in college is necessary for college success. You don’t have to be the loudest in the room; you can be the one that leads by example. There are many traits of leader and come in every form.
