Night Owl or Early Bird by Nate - January 2019 Scholarship Essay

Even though many of the people I know seem to be more of morning people, I would consider myself to be a "night owl." I have found that, at night, I am able to focus more because the time is more for me than for others. During the mornings, I go to school and spend the entire morning in classrooms learning, while, at night, I don’t have any distractions to keep me from doing what I need to do. I also tend to have more energy at night. I am an ambivert, so I feel as though I get energy while being around people, but I still need some time to myself. I also tend to think of some great ideas during the day, which I then have time to create over the night.
I have been trying to become more of a creator recently, and I use a 3d printer as my main medium. During the day, I tend to think of ideas of things that I can make, and I use my quieter time at night to model out and create. Being able to focus on something that I truly like, really helps me to work productively and this is why I believe that I am a Night Owl.
