What If I Would Become a Creative Writing Teacher by Natalie - October 2016 Scholarship Essay

If the roles were reversed, let's say I would rather teach everybody about English. Since I am learning more about academic English, I would like to be prepared with a huge dictionary in mind; for I am getting better to improve my mother tongue. The pro: we are all excited to read books, instructing others to do homework and write stuff. The con: it takes a lot of work to grade everyone's assignments and do some emails, but both the training prep and teacher-only work days really kill time. I may not be good at speaking during the faculty meetings, but I just have to give charisma a try to improve communication with other teachers as well by trying to be given verbal instructions to do what they ask me to do so. In the future, I will become someone's inspiration and rescue lives through the power of writing and good education.
To be specifically honest with myself, I am most likely leaning toward the subject of creative writing because I would like to tell the students about "the bridge to academic English" on the first day of school every year/semester/term/"whatever-you-call-it" and would encourage them to journal everyday, whether it comes from a physical notebook or a blog. I would go to random.org and pick a number from the list of topics, and want them to write what I request according to the selected items I picked out. I just want to be appreciated by the end of the period of time when they were supposed to give me "thank you" cards and I'll distribute them copies of what we all wrote to share the entries with others for pure entertainment. If it lasts for the entire school year, then I will write one novel by myself to go with a third each trimester at the Writer's Cottage back in Issaquah to be published by the end of the year. On the last day of school, after finals, I would hand them copies of my work as a distribution gift for all of the hard work they've done in general throughout the long nine and a half months of labor and I will autograph them and sign on every copy of the yearbooks.
Ultimately, it would be one of the best careers I would like to take in school to multitask with my writing career to make myself look locally famous for all of the achievements I've done throughout the years.
