Having a passion for education means different things to different people. To some, it means expanding your mindset and continuing in the pursuit of bettering education for other people. To others, it might mean making sure you make your parents happy because they have installed in your head to be the best you can be as far as academics go. One other thing that having a passion for education can mean, is what it means to me; ensuring that I will always have something to be proud of. Something that I worked for and achieved on my own. Something that can help secure the success of my future.
In my eyes, education is one of the most important things to a human life. Science proves that it can either make or break a person. Children who grow up in poverty without the option of having an education have a higher risk of losing touch of their futures and the success that comes with it. If I had the chance, I would not think twice about visiting a third world country and doing all that I could to help the less fortunate up the ladder to success.
As for me, I will be continuing my education in hopes of receiving a degree in order to enter the workforce and start creating my mark on the world. I am so excited to get started on my post-secondary endeavors and experience the next level of the only thing I know. So far, there has never been a time that I haven’t been going to school. I’m completely used to working hard, having the drive to get things done, and being self-motivated enough to go above and beyond what has been asked of me. To me, that’s another piece of the puzzle for passion that goes toward education. I can honestly and proudly say that the characteristics that make me who I am, originated from my roots in education. That in itself is already something I can be proud of, and I can use it to add on and create something much bigger. My passion for education is what will be my motivation to grasp onto what I will achieve on my own and secure the success of my future.
