My advice to younger students by Montana - April 2016 Scholarship Essay
By: Montana Ayala
Out of all the years of tough work and dedication I would advise younger students to “Never give up”. Life is about giving your all in every situation. Even if you fail to succeed, you should never give up. You should get right back up and try again. Life isn’t easy; sometimes you have to give everything you got to get to where you want to be. It is important to be confident to get far in life.
You may find it impossible to be positive if you feel you have tried every option and nothing seems to work out, it is important to stay as optimistic as you can. If you’re bitter or pulled down by all of your failures, then it will be difficult for you to move forward. Have you ever heard “Whatever kills you makes you stronger?” well it is true. Learn from your failures and your mistakes and move on to the next good thing.
It is important to get excited about what the future has to offer you instead of thinking negative. You have to be the individual to take action and to make a goal to succeed. Embrace yourself and be positive in yourself at all times. Don’t let anyone tell you that you are not good enough. Prove them wrong and fight till you reach you’re goal. Remember, It is important to be confident in yourself at all times to get far in life.
