High School lessons by Misty - November 2013 Scholarship Essay
In high school the most valuable lesson I learned was to try my hardest. I tried to get all my work done on time. I tried to understand what we were learning and exactly what was expected of me. I asked questions when I needed to. I focused on school while my friends were out having fun. I learned that if I tried my hardest I was doing my best.
I tried completing all my work on time. I always asked my teachers exactly what was expected on assignments. If I was confused I would ask questions about the topic and the work we were doing. I asked questions so I could fully understand and get my work done properly and on time.
I also learned I needed to focus on learning. I had to try hard and focus to do my work and get through school. I would stay focused and work hard on my assignments and also do extra credit assignments in my classes. To show I was trying my hardest and doing my best.
I had to stay focused in school and at home. Sometimes it was hard when my friends were out having fun. But I learned that staying focused and trying my hardest was best.
The most valuable lesson I learned in high school was to focus and try my hardest.
