Your high school years will fly by by Michael - March 2019 Scholarship Essay

If I was leading a tour of my high school, one of the very first things I would say is get involved. Your high school years will fly by so you should do everything you can to make them a great experience.
For those who are athletic, play sports. If you are not athletic, get involved in sports in other ways like managing the teams or being a score keeper. Become a member of your class senate so you can stay up to date on everything going on and even add a few ideas of your own.
Study hard, ask a lot of questions and be proud of your accomplishments. Teachers are there to help you excel and to help you work toward your future goals. Ask them for assistance.
During my tour, I would show the incoming Freshman all of the important spots within the school. There is the art rooms for those who are artistic, and the labs rooms for those who love biology and chemistry. There is the student gymnasium which is used for our physical education classes but also hosts our high school sports teams, such as basketball and volleyball. There is a closeness among students when they are all there cheering on the teams. Its a lot of fun.
Stay positive, word hard and at the end of your four years, you will have no regrets and many good memories.
