If I could have dinner with any historical figure, my number one choice would be Theodore Roosevelt (aka Teddy), larger than life individual our dinner would consist of rabbit, bear or any wild game. The evening would be full of laughter and listening to the amazing stores of his adventures thru the United States and his stories about the amazing and dangerous hunts he has been on as well as his travels to some of the most awe inspiring places in America with the construction of the Panama Canal.
The question that I would ask Teddy during the evening would be, "Is there anything else you wish you had accomplished while still in office and what inspired you to set aside land for the National Parks, would you have tried to save more land for more wildlife and how did the Teddy Bear story really play out?"
The biggest reason why I would choose Teddy is because of his great work that was done on the Panama Canal, as well as preserving the United States natural beauty for generations to come which now allows us to enjoy the beautiful land we have within the National Park system he created. How could we possibly thank the man who fought to protect America's natural beauty? With a toast of "bully bully."
