I will be writing an essay on what traits a leader will need to be successful in life and to be a good leader.

A great leader needs to be hardworking and disciplined, so they can not only be successful in life, but to also set an example for their followers. They also must be compassionate and empathetic. For example,If a leader tries to accomplish something that they are not compassionate about they most likely won't succeed in what they are trying to accomplish. They must also be empathetic to the people around them or follow them because it gives the individual a sense of acceptance and connects the two or more individuals on a more personal level.

Another big quality a leader needs is honesty and constructive criticism. They have to be able to tell people what they are doing wrong, without making it personal or hurting the individual's feelings. There is a fine line between actually helping someone and hurting their feelings out of frustration. And lastly you need to be caring. Not as in a parental sense, but in the sense that the individual's know that your someone that will be there for them, even in the most difficult of circumstances.

In conclusion you need a big heart and open mind to be a successful leader in life.
