College Experience by Megan - November 2016 Scholarship Essay

The part of college that I will be most thankful for is the education. I will be thankful for my education the most because I will gain valuable knowledge about the job field I want to enter, and that knowledge will help me to be successful throughout my career. Also, I will be most thankful for my college education because the main reason I am going to college is to prepare myself for a fulfilling career. At college, I will be taught by talented and experienced professors, I will have the chance to interact with like minded students, and I will be exposed to many opportunities such as internships and other valuable experiences.
I want to major in graphic design and I know that studying it in college will prove to be incredibly valuable in regards to making myself stand out when I am applying for jobs. I know that my professors will teach me everything that they know from their own experiences in their respective graphic design careers. All of their wisdom and experience will help to make me an awesome graphic designer, along with the opportunities they can expose me to, which is the main reason why I am going to college.
