“We can’t help everyone, but we can help someone.” Ronald Reagan explains that helping one person and succeeding is better than trying to help everyone and fail. I would have lunch with Ronald Reagan because he is an interesting man with many stories to tell and a lot of experience with leading a successful life.
Ronald Reagan served as the fortieth President of the United States of America from 1981-1989. He was born in Tampico, Illinois to his parents Jack and Nelle Reagan. He was married to Jane Wyman from 1940-1949. Ronald Reagan and Jane Wyman had two children Maureen and Christine; the couple also adopted Michael. He married Nancy Davis in 1952. Ronald and Nancy Reagan had two children, Patti and Ronald Jr.
Ronald Reagan defeated Jimmy Carter during the election of 1980. He was the oldest president to date. The date of the inauguration, Ronald Reagan was sixty-nine years old. During his first term, Ronald Reagan had major accomplishments such as ending the Cold War and revitalizing the GOP. A major slogan for his re-election campaign was “Morning in America” this slogan represented a new beginning for America. He was re-elected to office at the age of seventy-three. Ronald Reagan died from Pneumonia at the age of ninety-three in Bel-Air, Los Angeles, California.
I would like to have lunch with Ronald Reagan because he was a smart man and a good president. I would like to learn as many lessons I could from him. He is sometimes considered to be one of the best Presidents of the United States of America. Ronald Reagan was a captain in the United States Army Air Force; I am interested in joining the Air Force. I would like to hear his stories from his time in the service. Ronald Reagan was also an actor. I think it would be fun to hear his stories from acting in Hollywood. I feel that I could gain useful knowledge from Ronald Reagan.
Ronald Reagan would be an interesting person to have lunch with. He would have a lot of stories to tell and could give guidance to young people like myself.
