West Fargo Public Park by Matthew - May 2019 Scholarship Essay

Have you even been given a chance to positively impact your community or someone? Recently I was given the opportunity to impact West Fargo with a 10,000$ grant. Therefore, I will positively impact West Fargo by creating an outdoor park.

The outdoor park is a great idea for the community and would have the best impact. I believe this because with the $10,000 dollars I could include a new playground set and a basketball court. This would impact our community by giving kids and teens a place where they can go to meet new people and get exercise. Many kids and teenagers do not have the resources or money to get a gym membership or go to a recreational center. With this new park it would include a weights area, Basketball, playground, and a walking path. This way we can give all kids the opportunity to better themselves and get a chance to be active. It would be in a spot where many kids could easily bike or walk to, and if successful possibly create these parks in both North and South West Fargo. Furthermore, this is what I would do with the $10,000 dollars to impact the community.

My positive Impact with the $10,000-dollar grant would be creating an outdoor park. This would be a great idea and have a big impact on the community. Furthermore, I was given the chance to impact West Fargo positively and I have the best idea
