Dinner with George Washington by Matthew - October 2017 Scholarship Essay

If I could sit down and have dinner with a U.S. President, I would sit down with George Washington. I would schedule a meeting at Zaxby’s because I want him to know what he has done to our country. From the ways that the country was before to how the country is now, he would realize the different aspects of life. I would not want to take the president to McDonalds or Burger King. I have to have a nice first impersonation with him.

I find it interesting that George Washington was the 1st President of the United States. Something I would like to know is, how did manage to make the United States what it is now? Another would be, why would he be the one to do it? I would talk and ask him all sorts of questions about the start of the United States. People always say that look up to George Washington so I would like to learn about him. His life sounds interesting and it would be a pleasure to learn about him more from his perspective.

Overall, George Washington sounds like a good man. It would be my honor to eat dinner with him and get to know him more. He is an idol to people and by talking to him, he could me my idol as well.
