Which President Would I Eat Dinner With? by Masen - October 2017 Scholarship Essay

Dead or alive, if I had to choose a president to eat dinner with, I would have to choose someone who is very intelligent, interesting, and well-liked. Many presidents fit this description, but my choice would have to be President Barack Obama. Why? Well, he made very good political reforms and efforts such as Obama care. His political views are strategic and genius, however not too many of them could get passed through Congress. Aside from his political ability, his personal life and moments is my favorite thing about him.

While he was president, he went to Morehouse College and gave a commencement speech. When I found out that he visited a college I want to go to, it made me become more intrigued to learn more about him. It also makes me want to ask him about his experience of giving a commencement speech at Morehouse. Barack Obama is from Hawaii, and that's somewhere I've never been to but want to go to when I can in the future. That's just a few of my favorite things that I personally like about Obama. Now, the only question that remains is where would I eat dinner with him at?

Well, I will let Obama make that decision; just like the great decisions he made for this country.
