My Investigative Future by Mary - March 2025 Scholarship Essay

In 10 years, I see myself being an independent woman and making a paycheck I'm content with. I will continue to be serving in the Army National Guard whether that is in the state of Washington or another if I choose to move. I hope to accomplish the goals I will have once I complete college since that will be an entrance into the real world. I can't wait to discover new things and that includes growing/learning from the mistakes I will make. My goal right now is to attend a 2-year college that is local and I hope to earn my A.S. in Crime Scene Technology. I have a strong passion for helping others and serving my community/state/country. This education will help me to continue building on my leadership skills as long as skills are included in the career I choose. I hope to always be involved and give it my 100% on the job to protect and serve. The success and money come afterwards for me, I'm not too focused on that at my age. I care about completing college and never lower my standards for anyone or anything. I will continue to strive to be the best version wherever I go.
