Anatomy and Physiology is an important subject because it has to do with understanding the human body and its functions. It is interesting to sit back and think about how much is actually in our bodies after comparing all the systems within the body separately. I took this class as a sophomore in high school and was completely inspired, the teacher was great, the homework was engaging, and the topics were always so fascinating! This sparked my interest in joining the Sports Medicine program at my school the following year. Ever since, I’ve always known that I want to pursue something in the medical field with great pay, job stability, and allow me to advance or grow in the field. Although, I completely understand how overwhelming the medical profession can be, I want to pursue something that I am completely passionate and curious about. I have made ultrasound my study focus when applying to colleges, although I’m open minded to any changes that may occur in the future but I’ll let that be guided by my own personal experiences in the future. I want to use the inspiration I gained sophomore year and bring it to life through a desired career that I see potential in.
