The Three Rules for Academic Success by Maria - December 2017 Scholarship Essay

There are many ways to be academically successful, but there are three main ways you can achieve success. These are in order, researching and creating your plan, organizing it, and finally putting it into action. Once you do these three steps, you are on your way to success.
The first rule to being academically successful, it to create a game plan for yourself. You need to know what you are striving for, whether it be college, trade school, or the military. Once you know where your interests lay, you can begin by finding out what steps you need to take to get to your goal. This means you need to take time to research every possible outcome.
Now that you have all the necessary information, you can begin the second rule. The second rule is to organize all of the information into a list, whether it be chronological or not, of how you are going to move forward. You might find there are other, just as helpful, ways to organize your information. Now that you have everything organized, the final rule is to put your plan into action.
Putting your plan into action, is the most important rule of the three. This could possibly be the hardest rule. It is very easy to give up or just forget about the plan that was made. Serious commitment is needed otherwise, it would be a waste of the time spent putting the plan together. Once the plan is complete and being followed, the only way to go, is up.
The three rules are tools to be used in order to follow and earn success. There are many ways but these three rules are the basic structure. From learning these three rules, there is a higher chance of success.
