A Successful Dream by Manas - June 2023 Scholarship Essay
Academics have always been a driving force in my life. As an individual who wants to be flawless in every activity that is in front of me, I am always pushing myself to achieve the best results possible every day. This driving force has been the missing piece in my life that connected the shaping of my goals and ambitions, leading me to pursue a career in pharmacy. My passion for biology and the medical field continues my desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. My family agrees with me when I say that education comes before anything else around me. Education is destined to widen the human mind into new and powerful knowledge to help one grow. Success is when an individual accomplishes various activities to benefit them in every scenario possible. Even though stress can be seen when I have multiple activities to do related to school, I remind myself that I am doing this to become successful in my future career.
The biology major has been key in shaping my goals and preparing me for a successful career in pharmacy. Through the courses I have taken, I have developed a deeper understanding of organelles and their functions, or the little subjects that matter in life. I have learned about the different drugs that afflict people and the treatments available to them. I have also gained a strong foundation in biology and math, which are vital for understanding the mechanisms of drugs and how they work. My ultimate goal in becoming a pharmacist is to help people live a more nourishing and happier life. I genuinely believe what it takes to gain success is to become an occupation. I play a critical role in the healthcare system, providing patients with the necessary medication and counseling to manage their conditions effectively. I am motivated by the idea of being a part of a team that works endlessly to ensure that patients receive the best possible care, that they are in good shape, and that every item I give is beneficial for them.
Becoming a pharmacist may be a difficult path to stumble through as I learn every piece of information necessary to become a pharmacist, but the AP classes are just the beginning of the struggle I face right now. I want to experience the college experience I may have to go through at a time when I am comfortable understanding whether I would like to continue in this direction. I am striving with the AP classes I am taking, balancing everything every day of my life. If I can expand the knowledge I receive from the college-level classes I take, then I can do a lot at such a young age. Becoming a known occupation that is viewed as difficult to achieve may be a struggle, but it is not hard if I am going towards the right pathway to start my succession as I change the world for the better.
In today's society, where the majority of chronic diseases are increasing, the role of pharmacists has become even more urgent. With my passion for biology and my desire to help others, I believe that I can make a meaningful contribution to society as a pharmacist. Through my work, I hope to improve the lives of patients and contribute to the advancement of medical science. What it takes to be successful is to assist individuals with what they need help with and continue to grow the love of helping people. This mindset will drive me to become the best pharmacist that I can ever be.
As I obtain my bachelor's degree in biology, I will be trying to work at the pharmacy that is in my city to obtain hours for pharmacy school, leading me closer to success. There are only two locations in Arkansas that have a PharmD, so it would not be that hard to choose which one would be best for me. It would make sense for the school to require volunteer hours, so volunteering at the pharmacy would be the best fit for me because not only would I gain hours, but I would also be increasing my knowledge as I try to obtain my PharmD. As I obtain everything and apply to the school, I will have to wait and see if I get accepted and continue my future to see if I can become what I am inspired to be.
My drive to acquire academic excellence and my passion for biology have influenced my career goals and aspirations. To be successful, I am determined to become a pharmacist and use my knowledge and skills to help patients live better lives and be in the best shape they can be. The impact of pharmacology on society is extensive, and I believe that my goals and ambitions will contribute to its advancement. I am grateful for the opportunities that my education has provided me, and I am excited to embark on this journey toward my dream career with the number of courses and activities that will help me broaden my knowledge and become the most successful pharmacist.
