Ever since I was a little girl, my parents always told me I would be the most amazing lawyer in the entire world. In my free time, I enjoy speaking and arguing with my counterparts, and that is when I decided I wanted to become a lawyer. As a lawyer, three main majors work the best. History, Political Science, and English. Although History and English are important subjects to understand, I believe Political Science is the best major for my future.
Political Science is defined as the study of politics and power from a domestic, international, and comparative perspective. To become a lawyer these are all important components to learn about. When speaking in terms of history and English, they have different reasons for importance. Upon speaking with individuals who are lawyers now, the reason for such popularities within these majors is to assist with the extensive note-taking that lawyers have to complete. Even though that is of extreme importance for law, I want to learn components that have never been learned before. I believe if I were to major in Political Science, I will be able to learn a multitude of new things that I have never heard of before, and it will lead to the betterment of my career as a lawyer. I will be able to be the best lawyer possible, which is of great importance to me. I want to be able to help others in the world and make a difference in the world, and I believe Political Science will be able to help me with that.
All in all, if I were to major in Political Science, I will be able to be the best attorney possible and learn the most relevant information to my future profession. Even though history and English are both also helpful majors, a majority of it has been learned in High School, so for the best possible advancement in my education, Political Science will be an amazing major for me.
