When I think of college and all the reasons I want to continue on with a higher education, I begin to think of all the changes that I want to apply to this world we live in. With a great education, I will be able to better the lives of others around me. I dream of becoming a nurse, not only in a hospital, surrounded by patients and doctors, but throughout my life, on a day to day basis. I want to be able to share my education and experiences with people who really need it, and I believe acquiring an education will help me achieve this dream of mine.

Change is a big word. It is full of unlimited possibilities and achievements, and this is what I want to build my life around. When I think of my future, I begin to make a list of what I want to teach my children and how I want their world to look like when they are growing up. I want to change this loveless generation that I am apart of, into a more open minded, educated group of humans. I genuinely believe that everyone has greatness within them and I want to find my greatness and magnify it until no one can hold me back.

I feel it is only right to take advantage of the educational opportunities that are set out in front of me, when it is almost impossible for other kids around the world to even go to school. Education is one of the greatest gifts that this world holds and I want to use this gift to help change lives.

Education is power. And power is change.
