You go to school from preK-12th grade, then it's optional to go to college. Having a good education can lead you to having more opportunities in your life. Many companies in today’s society will most likely hire you if you have a degree. You won’t just have more job opportunities, but you also be able to have a higher income. Some companies give you a higher income just because you have a degree. You will also have a better chance of moving up easier and quicker if you have a degree. Companies truly do look at if you have a good education or not. Not having a degree could lead you to not getting your dream job.
Going through school will give you so much knowledge that you might not even know you needed. You don’t just receive knowledge from your teachers, but you also receive knowledge from the people around you. The people around you teach you many valuable things. Such as you learn who your real friends are and who you can trust in life. When going to college you also have opportunities to be in sororities, which teaches you a lot. Having fun with your friends gives you so much knowledge. In life you learn so much, but I guarantee you will learn so much more if you get a higher education.
Not only does just having a degree teach you a lot, but it will forever be with you. It does not matter if you use your degree or don't use your degree for work; it will always be in your name. Just knowing that you have something that no one can take away from you should make you feel really good about yourself. Accomplishing something like getting a degree should be one of the most important events of your life.
