School is a required, and needed activity to be successful in the future of many people. However, why are less and less students enjoying, and attending school? Our education system has many problems, and those problems that we students bring up, are often disregarded and never taken seriously. The disjoint system between school officials and students needs to break. We have to have a voice for what we want in our education. I hope that education in the next ten years gives more helpful skills and more equal opportunities for all.

School tends to only focus on the cookie-cutter learning styles that we’ve experienced our entire lives. This makes those who prefer these learning styles excel at school, while others struggle in their classes regardless if they try to learn the subject or otherwise. I hope in the future there's more of an understanding that not all students learn the same, and have our learning based on what is best for the students, and not what is easiest to teach.

Other than having unequal learning opportunities for all students, many useful subjects are not taught or required. There’s a lot of financial problems with young adults that follow them as they get older. I believe this is because of the lack of financial classes for our future taught at school. Taxes, and financial independence, aren't required graduate classes for school. However we do have other required classes that many students took that skills aren't needed after graduation. I hope in the future we are given the opportunity to gain more financial and real world problems that are genuinely useful. This would be an incredible gain for understanding how to function in our current society.

The reason why less and less students look forward to going to school is because many students don’t understand the point of attending school anymore. What's the point of attending something that you don't deem as beneficial to you and your future? There isn’t one. I hope education becomes a place that we learn skills any person can use in their lives. I hope education becomes accessible for everyone despite how they learn. I believe one day this could happen, if we don’t give up on the fact that it’s a possibility.
