Hell "No" we shouldn't have to attend college abroad. With the way the world is now with all the terrorist groups beheading Christians, school girls getting taken and raped, and also the expence invovled, I say not today my friend. Good luck with that! Americans have it tough now days, with all the chaos abroad, we can't even enjoy some studies. I wish one day we have the means, but in today's world it wouldn't be a smart idea.
The safety of our lives is at risk, and we as Americans should have education at our fingertips. It's hard enough to leave your parents to go to college in the United States. We leave the security of our home with the intent to get an education, but in actuality, we get homesick or the other extreme, party our ass off and don't appreciate what was given to us in the first place. Either one of these sinarios could cost me my life in some shape or form if I had been abroad. The cost factor alone would be $100,000 a year! I can go to a nice 4 year college here in Louisiana for that amount.
In all, it would be nice to learn a different language, live in a completely different culture or country, meet unique people, and obtain a degree from a college abroad; but I can acheive all of the above right here in the United States of America. I can acheive a psychology degree at Louisiana Tech University on campus, from home, or even on-line with the comfort of my family support at hand.
