The game plan by lyric - December 2017 Scholarship Essay

Okay you've been assigned your project team mates by the teacher, and you all are just sitting in the classroom in a dislocated seat awkwardly staring at your phone. What do you do now? you could do the standard and start diving up the work in equal proportions and two weeks from now scrambling at two in the morning to finish the "equally divided" work that your other group mates chose to ignore.

This happens because people forget an important step. The step that can make or break group participation, morale, and diligence. Talk, now I don't mean talk about the latest movie or how one of the hottest people in school are wearing. Get to know them because chances are even if there in your class the only thing they know about you is your first name and that facts becomes less true the higher you climb on the schooling latter.

Talk to them about the classes they have because chances are if you have an all ap student there cooperation is vital in thinking up a good product but not so good in the actual construction on the product. For example, an ap students workload is already above and beyond, so there time is limited for projects meet ups. So to compensate for their lack of meet up time you can plan to have the logistics worked out in class with them. Now if you have a student taking regulars classes they can be utilized for the construction of the product.

The key to having a successful group project is by realizing this first step which is in projects someones equal isn't everyone's. Finding out about your group members work load, and schedule can make for an efficient projects group.
