When you google the term "educational" one of the definitions given to you is "intended or serving to educate or enlighten". An educational experience goes beyond what we are taught in school. While the core subjects like English, Math, and Science do give us an educational experience, the term "educational" does not strictly belong to school subjects but rather anything that helps enlighten us and makes us more aware. For that reason, if I were to have an educational podcast the topic of my podcast would be essays and the importance of mastering the skills used by great essay writers. Essays might not seem like the most fun topic to talk about on a podcast but the skills discussed in my podcast, which I would call EZ Essays, would help enlighten people by showing them the versatile skills used when writing an essay.

When it comes to writing an essay or more specifically an argumentative essay students are forced to take a certain position and argue it using any evidence that they can find. In order for students to do this, the students have to search for any piece of evidence that supports their claim. This particular skill is used very often by lawyers or even someone who likes to argue with their friends about anything. However, arguing a topic and being able to provide evidence to convince people of your claim can be difficult. I myself experienced difficulties in my AP Literature and Composition class when trying to be argumentative. To combat these difficulties that other students may face my educational podcast, EZ Essays, would help students, whether they are in high school or college, by talking about how to be more analytical and how to be confident when arguing a topic. Learning to have confidence in yourself and your claim in an essay can be helpful in your life. If you are confident in your beliefs you are able to express your ideas and thoughts more clearly to the world.

While listening to a podcast about essays might not seem that important or useful to a high school student or college student who has written lots of essays in their educational career, learning about how to get your point across in the most effective manner is a skill every person should know. Essays are a written format of our thoughts, ideas, beliefs, and opinions. Every human on this planet has either a thought, idea, belief, or opinion however not everyone knows how to express it properly or how to express it in the most effective manner. Essays are great because they provide a way for people to get their ideas across in a consistent and cohesive way. The EZ Essays podcast would help people with any problems they might have when writing. Whether they don't know how to write a convincing essay or whether they need help with how to express their ideas clearly my podcast will help people by teaching them on how to better express their ideas and thoughts through a written format. Learning how to express yourself is very important, when you express yourself you are showing the world who you are and what you believe in and through the EZ Essays podcast people will learn how to express themselves and their ideas in a written format and in doing so learn how to better express themselves in other ways.

While essays may just sound like they are an assignment that is usually given to us by our English teachers they are a way in which we can express our ideas to the world. Many people might not realize this, but through my podcast, I would hope to enlighten students and other people on the importance of essays. Essays express our thoughts in an organized manner, learning how to master the skills to write an essay is essential to us all so that we can better argue or express an idea. The EZ Essay podcast wants to challenge people and help them learn to be more analytical and more organized. The skills needed to write a cohesive and convincing essay are applicable to many things in this world and one of the main goals of EZ Essays is to show people that these skills don't have to only be used in their English class. A person who wants to be a lawyer needs to learn to be argumentative and how to convince people of their claim which is very similar to what essay writers do.

The skills used when writing a good essay are something that everyone should carry with them. These skills not only help us when trying to express our ideas through written communication but help us learn to be confident in ourselves and our position. When it comes to essays they are much more than an assignment that needs to be turned in for a grade. EZ Essays hopes to show people that essays help teach us how to express our ideas and beliefs in a clear and convincing manner.
