I believe it is very important to attend college. We are currently living in a very competitive world where any advantage you can get on the next person can be the difference between landing a job or not.There are often many candidates competing for the same position and having a college degree is very likely to give you a heads up on candidates that may not have that same degree.
There are also many jobs and occupations you may not even be eligible for without that degree such as lawyer, Doctor, engineer, teacher just to name a few.Having a college degree gives you a much wider range of job opportunities than just a high school education could ever give you.
Another advantage to obtaining a degree is potential income earnings in both the long and short run. Not only will you better job opportunities with a degree but often people with degrees will advance within an organization quicker than those without.A majority of the people working jobs without degrees often live pay check to paycheck whereas many of the jobs you can get with a degree are usually higher paying and offer many more opportunities for advancement and greater income potential over the course of your life.
