If I were a college professor I would teach Phlebotomy. Ever since I took phlebotomy myself I absolutely loved it. I have become comfortable with the technique of drawing blood that I would want to pass on my knowledge. Since I have been in the medical field for approximately 5 years and have been able to draw blood for the majority of the 5 years I feel like I have mastered it. I feel passionate about the subject that no doubt in mind that would be the class I would teach.
As a college professor teaching Phlebotomy, I would hope to teach my students what they need to be successful in the field, as well to learn from them what I have missed and how I can better myself. Having hands on experience in the subject I am teaching can give my students a better sense of security in that I am giving them the most accurate information that I have. The best teacher is one who truly is passionate about what she is talking about not only in it for the money. I feel confident in the subject with the couple years I have been working in the field. I am certain that any student I would have could master the technique on drawing blood.
In conclusion I had the chance to become a college teacher, no-doubt in mind I would teach Phlebotomy. The love for the subject and the experience can really help any teacher pass on any education on correctly so that is why I have chosen to be a Phlebotomy teacher.
