YouTube is one of the best inventions known to mankind. This app has helped me learn many things. Watching Bob Ross’s painting tutorial has helped me learn how to use oil paints and blend them properly. Looking up ways to draw eyes and portraits has assisted me in selling my artwork online to people across the country. Some days during school, especially in math I am unable to understand what I am being taught at that pace. I come home open my laptop and immediately search for the topic I need assistance with. The Chemistry Tutor on YouTube has been my saving grace. He has helped me understand chemistry, physics, and math through one channel. Along with these topics, I am also learning more about architecture. In the future, I want to become an architect and YouTube is helping with that process. Watching ways to draft floor plans, a typical day of an architect, and learning how to use an architectural scale, have all helped me towards my career. This summer I was enrolled in a few architectural programs through colleges. On school days I would come home after commuting I would take a break then start studying. 30X40 Design Workshop on YouTube has helped me think like an architect, write like an architect, sketch like an architect, and what materials to buy as well. This app has taught me more things than the traditional way has. Being able to slow down and fully understand what they are teaching me is a privilege. This app has given me an advantage that I never would've had 20 years ago.
