School projects require self-direction, time management, organization, and communication. Projects in school often span a long time period; therefore, it is important to employ proper techniques to be successful.

A large project for school necessitates that the learner be independent and motivated. It is the responsibility of the learner to create smaller goals and deadlines for himself in order to stay on track to complete the best work possible. Along with this comes another important tool to success - time management. Lots of little details and tasks can quickly add up. One may have to meet with other project group members, not to mention stay on top of other classwork and responsibilities. It is important to be able to prioritize tasks that need to completed first and then later. If one can successfully manage and devote time to a project, the end result will be quality work.

It is vital to stay organized when working on a project. As mentioned before, there are many small details to consider and maintain when working on a project. Lastly, it is important to communicate! This can mean with project team members and with the teacher. If you have questions or concerns, it important to voice them and received help. This will make you be successful!
