My Education is My Success by Laryn - December 2015 Scholarship Essay

10 years from now, wow! Most people don’t even think about where they see themselves 2-5 years from now but I do. Sometimes looking ahead and planning ahead is the best way to success because if you’re just sitting around hoping that you’re going to be here and doing this it will probably never happen. Like my coach once said “Just because we say we want to win and that we are ready to win doesn’t mean we are going to give the effort to win.”
In 10 years I see myself somewhere, anywhere changing the world by helping others succeed in their dreams as well as helping myself succeed in my own. I once heard someone say “You cannot help someone if you’re not where you need to be or even trying to be in life.” My desire and goal is to be a Counseling Psychologist and help people understand their problems from a different aspect and how to improve their way of thinking about life. I see myself helping the future with our children that are brainwashed and influenced by the social media and the music. I see myself making a difference in this world even if I fall a thousand times trying, it will get done. This is not just my world this is our world and we have to help each other to keep it on top.
As we all know education is the key, so education can solve many problems and make many obstacles easier. My education is extremely important to me but as I go to school, I learn more about what’s happening in our world and I learn how I can help to change it. My education will teach me many different ways to discuss and understand how a person’s life is the way it is from past experiences. My education is the key to my success to influence others to reach their success.
