In ten years I would like to be working as a safety engineer preferably near the surrounding areas of Ardmore, Oklahoma. Occupational safety interests me and it allows me to get a job close to home without working at McDonalds.
Up until now, I always thought I wanted to work in the medical field like my father and my brother, but after close examination, I realized that is not what I want to do for the rest of my life. I decided I wanted a indoor/outdoor job that requires minimal school and is readily available in my area. That is why occupational safety is the right fit for me.
I plan to attend Southeastern University in the near future and earn a degree in occupational safety. This field of work will allow me to get through college fast and earn start earning some easy cash. This degree will open a flood gate for opportunities in the surrounding area.
Deciding what field I want to work in will be the greatest challenge for me. With so many job choices I feel like a kid in the candy store. Whether I choose to work in an oil field, a refinery, or a warehouse, I know I will enjoy what I do.
