Where do you see yourself 10 years from now and how will your education have helped get you there? by Laci - March 2025 Scholarship Essay

In the next ten years I see myself having my dream career. I see myself working as a CSI and helping solve crimes and homicide. I want to have a big family and live in my dream home somewhere up in the mountains. My education will help me get to where I need to be in my future. I will learn many skills during college on how to become a crime scene investigator. You have to be patient, observative, and very detail oriented. I have chosen this career because I find it interesting. I like to challenge my mind and look at the details. This is a good career choice for me because I like to observe and figure things out. I want to challenge myself and be able to give people justice. I can give families justice and closure.
One of the biggest things I want to do in my life is to travel the world. I want to explore and see what more there is to this world. There are so many things out there that are so interesting and beautiful. The thought of traveling and gaining more experience excites me. I want the opportunity to do that at some point in my life. Traveling will help me gain more experiences of different crimes, and teach me more about different cultures.
There are many experiences I can have as a crime scene investigator. I believe in justice and want to help serve my people. To create a safe environment for dangerous communities. I would like to take the education I will receive and put it to good use, to teach me how to be the best I can.
