Dress Codes. by Krysten - March 2017 Scholarship Essay

If I were to talk in front of the school about something it would be about the dress codes. I would talk about this because students do not like to listen to the dress code. The dress code is a great rule to have but instead of wearing what the dress code says to wear the students wear what they want. Most girls wear things and expose things that do not need to be exposed during school or any other time outside of school. Girls say it is not fair that a guy can wear shorts but the girls can’t. The girls can wear shorts just not the shorts that show everything. I’m not saying girls are the only ones that have this problem, guys do to. Guys try to wear cut off shirts when they are told not to. All these people that complain about getting in trouble but they are the cause for themselves getting in trouble.
I went to a school when I was younger that had to wear uniforms and everything was a lot better. Students did not get in trouble as much. The school looked more professional and there was not kids getting mad because they are in trouble for their clothes. The students might not like the uniforms and they might also complain about it a little bit but soon they will get over it. There wouldn’t be a lot of kids getting dress coded. Uniforms are a good idea or so I think. Students wouldn’t be able to talk about what other people are wearing and hurting someone's feelings. They did that and I would be towards themselves as well because they are wearing the same thing. The uniforms would be a really great thing to have in schools.
