25 Years From Now and Still Growing Strong by Kimberly - September 2018 Scholarship Essay

The clock is ticking, I am down to my last final moments suddenly the surroundings around me have a much more deeper significant meaning. Entering adulthood my perspective towards the world, to my life suddenly changed drastically. As I am growing up I no longer have the same state of mind, I seek for greatness.
Around me I see changes, changes for the better and for the worst. Despite crucial events occurring such as economic and political issues, the sudden death rate increasing more and more each year, in 25 years from now I see myself in a state of mind where I can make a difference not just within myself and community but for the world. Within myself I see a total professional building a project-based program one that can enhance positivity and a change in poverty, economic stand overall result in a peace of mind. 25 years from now I want to be able to mark history and make a legacy in countries where poverty exists the most, where infants more so children are not being abandoned, animals being left to suffocate, and through this achievement I expect to turn that crisis around and change history.
Through this I see myself continuing to learn not just about myself but also exploring various cultures, countries, values, different resources most of all my purpose on this world. Through the education I currently hold and will continue to receive I plan to study abroad for university, graduate and receive my bachelors' degree and continue to expand my learning in order to assist others in need to alleviate the ones struggling but it all falls back to one main theme; to be the change you wish to see in the world because if not you then who. That is what I see in 25 years from now, a positive contribution to human society.
