A dinner party with such a prestigious person such as one of the Presidents of the United States would be a great honor. If I were to choose who I would dine with, I would be delighted to do so with our previous president, Mr. Barack Obama.
There is, of course, a lot of presidents who hold my respect, but Obama was the one that stood out the most as he was the first minority to become the leader of a great nation and that was something I could connect with genuinely. He grew up humble, stayed true to his roots, and grew as a person throughout the eight years he served, and that is why I hold a tremendous respect for Barack Obama.
Despite the many problems he had to resolve when his presidency began, he always had a resolve at hand. His drive and intent lead him to withstand the many conflicts that presented themselves throughout his administration and come up with resolutions that would work in favor of the people. I believe that these characteristics are what define Obama from the president before him as he did an outstanding job as the President of the United States during the two terms he served. He withstood many conflicts, yet he still left his presidency with a smile.
