Senior quotes are supposed to fun and meaningful. They bring entertainment into reading a yearbook and allow seniors to reflect on their whole high school career. Senior quotes are important,it's something everyone will remember you by. It also shows a lot about you and your character.
My senior quote would be "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." (Dr. Seuss) To me, this is a very powerful quote. I think it means be who are you no matter what people think. Say what you mean and say what you feel. Don't worry about what people have to say about you because at the end of the day no one can be you, there is only one you. No one is going to have your back like you do so why listen to what others have to say about you. Instead, worry about your family and loved ones because they matter and will be there until the end of time. Worry about people that actually matter not some friend that you barely even know. In order to be happy in life you have to love yourself and be you.
I think this quote says a lot about me. I'm a very blunt and honest person who is also in a way very different. I always looked at myself as a leader and never a follower. I'm someone who tells it how it is no matter of what others have to say about it. I feel like a lot of people nowadays aren't honest and tell people what they want to hear and not what they need to hear. To me honesty is something that means a lot to me because it's always good to know the truth and not have any doubt about anything. A lot of people tend to dislike me because I like to speak my mind and not hold my feelings in. I love who I am and the skin that I am in.
Being a senior and graduating is a monumental thing. Not everyone can say they graduated high school. Having a senior quote is something I think every senior should do just so when your older and want to reflect on your years in high school, and on how much you changed as a person. My senior quote is something that I’m going to cherish for the rest of my life.
