School teaches you social skills. Everyone needs social skills to succeed in life and to go through college. If you learn social skills early in life then it will help you gain friendships and have more confidence when you go to talk to important people. Having social skills provides you with more opportunities, because you know how to talk to people. If you talk to someone and you know what you are talking about it makes things easier when it comes to life and college. When social skills come into play people tend to have less confidence in themselves because they will think people will judge them and put their ideas and opinions down.
School helps young people gain more confidence. People's confidence comes with how they were treated at school. Children are very impressionable and when they get treated a certain way by someone and their ideas get shut down they become less confident until they get shown how their ideas can play a part in helping with something. When kids get put down it can lower their self esteem and think their ideas are not good enough and think their ideas are stupid.
School encourages people to think. Critical thinking helps with work and schools, because it helps you process through how you are working and how your ideas go with what you are working on.
