Ten Years by Kealey - December 2015 Scholarship Essay

Some students go to a two year college and earn their associate's degree in what they need for their wanted profession; others attend a school specialized in their future occupation, but to become the best I can be, I will be attending a four year college. I will double major in accounting and finance and should be done with my degree in a few years. After starting work somewhere in Paris, Texas, I will get married and have at least two children. In the year 2025, I plan on sharing an accounting firm with my brother in Paris, Texas while married and raising my children. I see myself helping with my community often. I plan on owning a house by this year and maybe I will be remodeling rooms in my house at this point if I have had my house for a few years. I will be attending my 10-Year Class Reunion in October or November. My family and I will go to my parents house every Sunday and eat dinner.
My education will help me get to where I'm going by offering a degree suitable for what I believe I will excel in. My brother and I both enjoy math related occupations and building a strong firm together is my dream. Hopefully we will become an accounting firm that can be passed down to our children or grandchildren one day. I believe that earning my Masters degree in both Accounting and Finance will help me tremendously by teaching me more about becoming an entrepreneur.
