Where I see myself in ten years. by Kaya - June 2023 Scholarship Essay

Ten years from now I see myself as a successful and experienced professional in my chosen field whatever that may be. With the help of my education, I will have gained the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in my career and the resources to continue learning and growing as a person.

I will have graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. My education will have helped me develop a strong work ethic and critical thinking skills. My college Bachelor's degree will make it easier for me to find job opportunities and be accepted into a graduate school if that is where my path takes me. My college experience will have connected me to experienced adults who can aid me in navigating my future. I will have made enough income to live comfortably where I choose and be able to financially support loved ones if need be.

I hope to have a career in something I am passionate about like animals for example, and that wherever I am I will be able to apply my skills to help the people and the environment around me. I am grateful for the opportunities my education has provided me and am excited to see where I really will be ten years from now.
