Many great opportunities arise once one begins college; the chance to expand ones knowledge and boundaries of beliefs, the possibility of meeting life-long colleges and forever friends, and the likelihood that once one graduates, these gifts will carry with us wherever we may find ourselves. I can only hope I experience all of these wonderful things, but above all, I wish to gain the courage and fearlessness every great nurse has before I enter the medical field, where I may help others grow and heal as they entrust my capabilities to guide them towards full recovery. I believe my future career is vital to not only ones physical recovery, but emotional stability.

When one is left under the care of medical personnel, it ought to be done so with the reassurance that the caring staff is confident with their treatment abilities. I wish to reassure patients a step further to not only see our confidence, but so they can feel their own confidence ensuring their full recovery. Although there are well over 2 million nurses currently working here in America, I wish to be one of the few to help patients not only foresee their recovery, but also feel safe knowing that I will provide the best care there is possible. Gaining confidence and fearlessness within nursing school will not only help me aid my patients towards health, but will also give me a fulfilling sense of pride to know that I can be the best nurse to my capabilities. I can only hope that above all the things possible to gain within my college career that these traits may be ones I obtain; this would by far be my number one goal to achieve while attending college at SPC.
